TRUSTEE MINISTRY MISSION STATEMENT

The Trustee Ministry manages the material possessions and oversee the financial matters of the church according to God’s design for handling the resources He provides for His church; prepare policy and procedures for the financial administration of the church

We, the trustees of the Buffalo Baptist Church, shall be loving, prayerful, and faithfully serve the Church through careful management of all its resources. We strive through the power of the Holy Spirit, to be used as vessels for Christ in this branch of Zion. With Christ as our example, and His ministry as our model, we understand that the nature of our ministry is SERVICE, the motive of our ministry is LOVE, the measure of our ministry is SACRIFICE and the purpose of our ministry is to GLORIFY GOD.

VISION STATEMENT

Serving in unity, we embrace the vision of the church and support the work of the Pastor in the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Trustees of the Buffalo Baptist Church support the ministry of the Church by working:

• By giving oversight to maintenance and care of church properties
• Managing the fiscal operations
• Serving as legal custodians

• Account for and deposit tithes and offerings and other funds contributed and/or donated to the church for specific purpose

• Assist auxiliaries with expenditure requests, for Church ministries and events
• Provide assistance with budget preparation, monitoring and amendments

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10
