UNITY IN BUFFALO BAPTIST CHURCH
WRITTEN BY: Johnny Sullivan
March 1, 2008
REVISED March 1, 2014
Buffalo Baptist Church was founded by the late Reverend Johnnie B. Carr. If the veterans and the new members work together we can go very far.
I know as a member I got to do better. Let's remember that silent and listen are spelled with the same letters. We must learn to have forgiveness in our hearts. Excellence we can strive for but perfection is God's business.
When I work for the Lord, I'm not doing it for praise, not even a little bit. The reward for something well done is to have done it.
People talk about each other, both night and day. We need to say
Lord forgive them and go the other way.
If Buffalo wants to grow, we have to be very tight. We got to know that what is right isn't always popular and what is popular isn't always right.
Our late Pastor Leroy T Lee has gone home to be with the Lord, we have a new elected Pastor and we need all members on board.
Our newly elected Pastor brings with him brimstone and fire. Buffalo let's give a big welcome to Pastor John McIntyre.
UNITY IN THE CHURCH
By Johnny Sullivan
Buffalo Baptist Church was founded by the late Rev. Johnie B. Carr.
If the veterans of the church accept the new member's help, we can go very far.
As a newer member, I will do better.
We must remember that silent and listen are spelled with the same letters.
It's time to lay our differences down; let's keep a smile and do away with the frown.
When I work for the Lord, I'm not doing it for praise, not even a little bit.
The reward for something well done is to have done it.
There are people in church with envy and I asked why?
At any time you may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try.
People talk about each other night and day.
We need to say Lord forgive them and go the other way.
For Buffalo to really grow we have to be very tight.
We gotta learn what's right isn't always popular and what's popular isn't always right.
Now for the last eight years, we have the Pastor Leroy Lee.
I'm committed to helping the church grow.
Buffalo, are you with me!!!
